Motley Fool’s Take on the Amazon Tablet

The Motley Fool website is just marvelous. They have a different and frank take on everything they report on. I very much recommend it.

Today’s article is Amazon’s Tablet: Winners and Losers , by Anders Bylund, from the The article draws heavily on observations by TechCrunch (I’m not citing the original post there), and emphasizes that Amazon isn’t aiming it’s device at the high end Android tablet market. In fact, this tablet seems designed to appeal to a much lower price point. Surprisingly, it is the opinion of Bylund that the tablet is intended to compete with Netflix in the mobile entertainment space. If true, that’s pretty clever. The article is worth looking at, although you’ll need to register for (free) access to the Motley Fool site to read it.
